I don't know. I have 14 days off in Sept and that's my 2nd month of being a line holder.

Ord 175

So what's up with ord 175?

Ric Wilson just said it was coming as part of next years growth.

This will change the dynamics of who will be jockeying for the plane as well as potentially even who wants to come to Envoy. The DFW lines shrunk dramatically with MIA. This will likely further cut them.

How much of the 145 file in DFW was MIA flying? I'm asking because I honestly don't know, but I think it was much larger than the amount of flying the 175 does in ORD.

Opening a 175 base in ORD will pull some flying away from DFW 175 but I doubt it will hurt the file to the extent that LGA and MIA affected ORD and DFW, respectively.

Feel bad for those DFWLifers/Hags. But they can still flow!

At the moment there isn't a ton of ORD 175 flying. XNA, DCA, PNS, IND those are the ones off the top of my head.

I think the better question is: How much of the MIA flying was in the DFW file? DFW, ORD, and LGA ERJ all had a good amount of MIA flying, but it seems DFW took the biggest hit to it's lines. All 3 bases lost a lot of MIA flying, but neither LGA or ORD took nearly as big a hit to the number of lines (in fact, I think ORD went UP in lines).

This time last year there was an incredible amount of ORD 175 flying. 50% of the 175 daily departures were out of ORD. I'm sure most of those routes will reappear.

What does ATTOT stand for? I think it is when a line holder can start to pick up OT or trade open time. If so, is OT picked up in seniority order?

Also, if you are home based TDY do they A pass you to and from work on each sequence or just the first start of the beginning sequence and the last of the month sequence at the end?

ATTOT stands for Automated Trip Trade with Open Time. We have an automated system so that you can trade your trip with one that's in open time instantly.
Picking up Open Time is a different animal. I don't ever pick up OT, but I think the only time it goes in seniority order is during the 48-hour window (someone please chime in with the correct answer here). Outside of that, OT is basically first come, first served.

Home based TDY - you get A pass at the beginning and end of each sequence (which you must call and arrange yourself). That's the point of it being home based vs. regular - they don't want to pay for a hotel for you in the TDY city for the entire month.
