where to watch NFL football in cdg
http://www.allomatch.com/where-to-wa...-baseball.html This website lists a schedule of the NFL/Bowl games (actually all north american sporting events) for a given week and where they may be watched in CDG. Two favorites from the weekend: the Great Canadian, 25 Quai des Grands, latin quarter, facing the seine. Upscale place, several games were on at once. The other was The Fifth Bar, 62 rue Mouffetard, very young crowd of american students. Kind of a college dive bar, but the scenery was nice. Both places would stay open late to watch the night games from back home. Good to go for the playoffs and bowl games now!

I watched the Superbowl at the US Embassy in Cairo one year.
As far as Paris, I vaguely remember where the embassey is and I'm sure you can find it while in Paris rather than post it on this website.
In Cairo, I did not have my driver's licence or passport, but had my USAA credit card and a jug of rum..that seemed to work in lieu of credentials (pre 9/11).
I wonder if the James Joyce has American Football on the tele. At TWA we used to stay at the Concorde Lafayette so the J.J. was a short walk.
Of course, the other options are slingbox and TVU Player (free web TV).
Good Luck, hopefully you'll get some good answers so we all can keep up with the games.

If (and I emphasize the if) we had decent internet service in CDG, SlingBox would solve all of the problems. I've watched a lot of good stuff on my SlingBox all over the world. Even Almaty has better service that CDG. What's that about?

If your in Paris for the Super Bowl, I recommend the Planet Hollywood on the Champs. They put on a large buffet with lots of big screens to watch on. Did that two years in a row. Game starts around midnight Paris time, but go and get your tickets early as it fills up quick. Don't recall what the price was, but it was very reasonable, even by airline pilot standards. Of course the commentary is in French and you don't get to see the commercials but it's all about the game anyway.
