Default Germany: Frankfurt - Munich - Nurburgring

Going to Germany for a few days wed-sat. No real plan so far, but I think we're going to rent a car and head down to Munich for a bit and see what we can. Planning on driving the Nurburgring on friday. Any suggestions of places/things to do or see around those places?

Thanks! Lived in Holland for 3 years growing up, but this is my first time to Deutschland.

If youre into aviation photography, at Terminal 2 at Frankfurt, there is a terrace where you can watch and do some photography. The film studio in Munchen is very nice, they filmed Das Boot there as well as Great Escape in the near area. Paulaner beer factory is also excellent. Not much besides a Red Light District near the main train station in Frankfurt, if youre into that sorta thing, but FRA has a lot of banks and businesses there and not much else. Tonight I just got back from being there, but spent most of my time in belgium and france, but I have family in the Stuttgart area. Eat the Pretzels, I live off those and beer when Im there, but German food is good. Enjoy the trip.

Munich is the place to start. The 1st eve just head to the city center, 'Platz' & the 'HB' house. The next day maybe visit Dachau the on to the Southern border area with Austria. Be sure to get the 'window sticker' if you plan to drive into Austria, 120 Euro fine if not. Rothenburg is nice if you are driving by.

Look at 'Trip Adviser' for details & reviews about all possible attractions.
