Meh....it’s not hostility. You’re making it sound much more serious than intended. I am merely suggesting to anybody that’s considering debating with you to reevaluate that choice. You literally NEVER back away from a stance, and you’re generally a know-it-all kind of person. Very few things are as frustrating as trying to have a discussion with a person like that. It doesn’t mean I dislike you, or have any hostility towards you. I’ve flown with you, and I liked you just fine back then. I was also pretty new at the time, so I was receptive to a person who is always trying to teach the rest of the world how little they know. Now.....not so much.
There is no hostility, though. This is not the real world, it’s the internet. I walk right past you at work and don’t say a word, but if I did it would be civil and friendly. It’s the internet, not real life.

And here I was thinking you were still upset that I didn’t remember you when we were apparently in the elevator together, since you keep bringing it up.
Anyway, in this instance, I was merely passing information on where the handbook can be found on the internet. I really don’t care what it says as I would let the fed on the aft JS if that’s what they wanted. But I figured I could give the poster a chance to look it up for their argument’s sake.
I’m sure it wasn’t me that made you fall of the wagon, so what’s the story?

I wasn’t referring to that time in the elevator. That was years ago. I see you every time I go to the crew room. Literally....every time. You either live in there, or you get ARC more than anybody else I know. As for me posting on here.....that wasn’t you. I finally created a profile to respond to a troll. I should stop posting, because it doesn’t serve any purpose.

Actually, I have been sitting a lot of ASB lately. Also, I actually don’t mind the Crew room on sits. So I have been spending an inordinate amount of time there since being iah based again and being back on reserve since May. It’s obvious I don’t remember what you look like anymore. Next time you see me, stop me and say hello. I promise I won’t bite.

“Feds” are NOT permitted to occupy a cabin jumpseat of ANY Part 121 aircraft under ANY circumstances. This is because Feds have not been trained on the air carrier’s emergency procedures (including evacuation). If the FOM says that Feds are permitted to occupy the “aft” JS, that is not correct.
Pilots And FAs often ride on cabin Jumpseats when on planes they aren’t specifically trained for.
