I know that the CRJ side is what’s currently being shutdown, but the 145 side hasn’t fared well either in the last 10 years.

I think that regional MECs should collaborate on a collective clause that preserves longevity when pilots move from airline to airline.

They laid out nothing, and that in itself sent a strong message.

Or maybe that’s because of Non-Disclosure Agreements? Or SEC rules?

The silence here is damning, I get it, but if you can get out and want to, do so. Lots of us can’t/won’t move to another regional and the ULCC stuff isn’t where we want to make a career.

Hold on tight. The next few months might just surprise you.

Bluewaffle, oh no I'm not pinning my hopes on that at all. I only pin hopes on myself and haven't failed yet.

I get my intel from multiple fiends at SkyWest. I also talk to Skywest crews as I travel around the country riding on SkyWest planes. I know you're spread thin on crews. Every regional is thin on crews.

Any chance I get to poke Chip in the eye I'll take it.

...and you base this speculation on what, prey tell? Because, from the window of a regular line pilot, we're at min fuel and all airports are socked in for hundreds of miles. So if you have something more substantial than general feel goods, I'm all ears.

Sure, you can take that tack in your line of thinking. However, it's not real. You have to go with what you know and not the same tired rumors.

Have you ever checked out their pilot recruiting page? They week after week after week post class photos. Just kinda eyeballing it looks about 40-50 or so in each class. And that’s for the CRJ. Erj usually has about 15-25. On paper those numbers might be down from the 60 that were in class a few years ago but the amount of people still going through their program is mind boggling. I don’t see any issues they might face.

Well it depends on what attrition is over there. If you read on the Skywest v2.0 thread pg. 1104, they are discussing how over the last few months they have lost more pilots than have been hired.
