That CPP is a dumb AF. I passed the 1 year anniversary of failing the Hogan, and 3 months later I'm still waiting for the retake.

Especially nice for those at LASA who’ve been around 20+ years, some having flown years in the UAX system. #winning

Yup. Cutting line just like in school to go to a garbage carrier.

Some of the round guys I know waited about 15-16 months for the second Hogan. And then round 2 interviews we’re getting kicked to the back of the line, possibly 18 months from round 1 hogan to round 2 interview being scheduled. And THEN depending on your XJT seniority, the final review being done and waiting out that quarter before class. For some guys it doesn’t matter. As of RIGHT NOW anyone senior to about summer 2005 XJT is losing seniority relative to their XJT CPP peers.

And wasn’t there an email long that said even though you’re “eligible” for round 2 in a year it could take up to 15 months to start the process over again? Maybe related to them doing things on a quarterly basis?

Once this place closes there will be no more CPP. So no need to worry people.

You continue to add nothing of value.

I would never choose a regional carrier based off of new hire bonus, they can disappear over night...you need to look past bonuses and smoke and mirror captain pay scales. ie health insurance etc...regardless if ORD/CLE is your goal...you cant get either of those with C5.

I've heard some people say they are certain the CPP slot to UAL is secured even if XJT folds. Is there any hint of truth to that or what is supporting that rumor? Just wait to go to UAL no matter what?

My understanding is either company can terminate the CPP for any reason.

Just ask the people who had a continental flow. A sure thing until it’s not. Oops sorry, hit the road.

Just as UAL could pull it tomorrow if they want to.
