Management upset at bleeding??

I've heard rumors that management is upset at all the pilots leaving, especially the deal worked out with Kalitta. You know what? It doesn't matter how we got here. Our partners at Kalitta and other places are noticing. And we DO have a seat at the table with them.

It's not 2012 and this is not Comair. Pilots are not going to stay while you kick them around. Heck, even the "good news" about the -175s can't be handled correctly. Months after the TA was approved, nothing from UAL.
Putting together lines for 20-30 year veterans of this company commuting to 12 days off. With single days off between trips. Worth about 60 hours. Barf. Gee. If pilots don't have any days off and are commuting to ORD I wonder why they aren't picking up open time? Hmmm... let's ponder that one. Come on. Must be a reason. What is it??

On many levels, too bad UAL didnt hire in 2017 like we have this year.

There’s no way they could have kept up with losing 15-18-20 CA’s a month just to the CPP. That would ALSO mean this year would have probably dipped into the FO’s in the CPP, further compounding the problem.

There's a solution that's been whispered for years, but you and I know it will never happen.

It’s been SHOUTED.

But agreed, not anytime soon, unfortunatley.

It will have to get to the point where it affects UAL labor's bottom line for something to change.

Time to throw more money at us in the form of a retention bonus that might actually retain people.

From 4,000+ trained pilots to what...<1k?

IDK. Performance numbers have tanked. XJT is making G7 look good. That's not the way to win bigger airplanes.
I hope and pray things turn around quickly for those still there.

A lot of the good people are getting hired elsewhere. And maybe some good people were unjustly denied a position. But I have noticed it appears all we have left are the rejects and people who probably rode the short bus to school. Soon enough XJT will be just one big group of invalids.

I've seen enough "...rustlers, cut throats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, con men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswogglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass-kickers, ****-kickers and Methodists..." get hired at majors that I try not to disparage those left behind. We even had Captain FOQA get hired by SWA. That was a sad day. You could always pimp FO's who had flown with him on what would be in AQP that year as the events were usually based upon something idiotic he did in an airplane. Like the LGA ILS 22 circle 13.

Obvious flame bait.
