Fear not the ASA dinossaurs... a good chunk of the Kalitta new hires are those guys. I’ve heard recently one of them who does not want to go to K4, 18+ years hire, speak of how quickly he is moving up the list thanks to K4.

Also... we need pilots. At this point IMO it’s better stay junior than lose those guys. . .

A number of them have also bid the 145, and they will incur a two year type lock.

They can’t stay competitive when half of the CAs company wide are topped out on the pay scale. With median CA longevity above 17 years. The whole reason they are shrinking us. Can’t compete with street captains and 5 year CAs being senior at most other United Express carriers. What I say isn’t popular, but it’s reality.

The irony of the CPP, was supposed to “clean out the top/most expensive” pilots and save millions.

If it's the goal of management to get rid of the top end of the list, why are they telling lies about so many ExpressJet pilots returning from employment LOA in order to stem the numbers leaving?

Fools. It’s obvious that all this is a ploy to attempt to keep people around to get through the holidays. The end is near.

I see no effort to try and reduce the overall seniority average. If that were the objective, there would be early buy outs and such. There are many guys at 60-62 that are only here to stay for 2 year so that they get the United retirement benefits. They could easily buy them out with that. I think that if Delta didn’t hose everyone on the benefits, lots of guys would be naturally leaving. Another failure to fix the list.

:D Yeah people keep saying it's to not disrupt another regional, Mesa, GoJet etc. We're already losing 50+ a month with "good news around the corner." This place will literally crumble at any sign of bad news being a reality.
