Yup. United is “happy” with the size of the current CPP pool, so they aren’t sending out second round Hogan’s yet. So much for that “seniority” hardon that they had.

It's been almost 18 months since I failed the Hogan and this is why I haven't gotten a second shot yet? I don't care if they're happy with the current size, the agreement says I'm entitled to two shots. I honestly hate United more and more every day. Really hope I can go to one of the LCC; the paycheck isn't as huge as a legacy but at least they don't abusively outsource.

Wow, 765 guys either opted out or were rejected by the CPP. Not sure I'd be so proud of that statistic.

Nope. That 765 number includes ASA folks that are not part of the Cpp.

Wow! If I recall correctly, when I left a year ago, I was around 1100 or so on the combined list as a CA, with quite a few below me. Amazing how much that list has shrunk.

1543 are on the combined seniority list today, with about 220 on employment leave.

Im also in the January 7th class. After speaking to a lot of Mesa and Xjet pilots, I ended up choosing Xjet based on their training, work rules, and the ability to be mentored by seasoned Captains, not a 2 year upgrade who used to be your old CFI. As for the companys future, you don't buy a stock after its risen....Sure its a bit of a gamble, but what's the worst case? Excellent training and mentorship from experienced Captains?

I agree, and I think you made a good choice. Which base are you wanting?

That shouldn't be difficult.

18 months to wait around for a possible round 2, to most likely get rejected again is crazy to me. Every day that passes is a day of seniority lost elsewhere.
