If you guys think United spends all day in conference rooms planing how to grow XJT or its regionals. Your mislead. What ever any regional says the plan is is wrong UA has no plan. So if anyone says they know they are driving right into the ploy to keey you hooked.. get your time. Enjoy it and get to a Major. Don’t let that flow/ccp hook bait you...

Republic was bailed out by the big 3, far from partial ownership. United had no choice with Republic.
You are about to see a new United Express brand built around XJT and C5. Remember, United now makes 50 cents on the dollar at XJT. How can another airline bid for a contract and win against XJT? They can't. Why do you think that part of the sale SkyWest negotiated protection of their United flying? For this exact reason.
Yet still people are willing to sit and wait around for a Q4 class date at Republic. It's like people don't believe what's happening at XJT.

Yeah, as part of the deal with the creditors, the big three made promises (similar to the recent promises to SkyWest) to protect flying at Republic. That really only leaves GoJet, Mesa and Air Wisconsin to take flying away from. The question is how quickly it happens. UAL hatched the Xjet plan over a year ago. It will take time to see how UAL’s future plans pan out.

They negotiated a “Priority” on the next 25 NEW 70+ seat AC for United “OR” United pay them a lump sum for not giving them the new AC. United will pay the penalty. You won’t see any new AC go to Skywest. United has been working on this deal for 2 years and wanted to purchase us instead of CommuteAir but Skywest didn’t want to sell that’s why United made sure our CPA continued to be unprofitable until Skywest would sell.

Possibly, possibly not. There would be criticism for selling ExpressJet to United from SkyWest shareholders. This “promise” helps keep those critics at bay. If and when United actually gets scope relief, the promise may or may not be honored and hopefully by that time, SkyWest shareholders won’t care.
