I love that somebody actually mailed this guy a postcard. The union realizes they are going to get nowhere fast with this guy if they bend over and whisper sweet nothings in the company's ear while they all play golf together. Hardball is the only strategy at this point.

We are getting closer and closet to the bottom as far as regional pay goes.

You and me both lol. What I read is a guy that is too immature to fix the issue. Instead he comes up with some cryptic email that Was incredibly vague and a waste of everyone’s 10 seconds to read.

Yes, scope is on the table.

You are right, it is on the table, but it’s not going anywhere. It’s like telling your wife that you would really like a hall pass. You can put it on the table, but you already know the answer. The regionals will get a few more rj’s if UAL decides to add another SNB to the mainline fleet. Until then they will just shuffle jets around.

I must be living in an alternate reality. IF the staffing issues are only going to get worse at the regional level, why on earth would you look for a way to put more metal in that industry? Maybe it is such a golden goose as to blind them to the facts. We are still losing more pilots than we gaining. Tho, I do see that changing with the upcoming golf tournament .😝

Delta has the lead in this one, bringing flying to mainline with the A220 gives customers a better experience and more control over their product. United is so far behind, they wouldn’t be able to take delivery of a NSNB for years even if they ordered them today. E2s have 160 ordered and A220 is 500+ right now.

Think you’re supposed to read between the lines and figure out that if pilots won’t come here then the additional aircraft will go somewhere else??

Then the postcards will really have the effect that the union was looking for!!!

There’s more than one deal that’s not done!!

Think you’re supposed to read between the lines and realize that if no pilots come here then United can award additional aircraft to other players?

Scope connected to wide body Jets is on the table. Pilots may get somewhere with that and UA may get some scope relief.

That plus flow down furlough protection and about a billion dollars in pay and retirement incentives.....
