The 9/16 class is just now exiting training and everyone except one person has the base they wanted. He was the most Jr person requesting Houston. He will almost certainly have it in the next base trade, which will be effective Feb.

It varies on the staffing needs the day the company works out the initial bases. With upgrades dropping down to just over a year and street captains being expected in April things will start moving fast. Out of the last two classes who were awarded their initial base they all got IAH and ORD.

Yea, the person I mentioned above, who wanted IAH, got ORD. He's trying to trade for IAH for Feb. Lots of ORD from the classes starting since early Sep. So I don't think we've seen any evidence yet of a ORD shrinking, but maybe it's coming.

United said they will expand and increase flying for XJT in ORD. I don’t know who started the rumor it was shrinking.

GoJets is potentially expanding in ORD with the 550, so it has been speculated we may lose 145 flying there. It is a possibility but the 175 base is about to open and will grow.

S.H. in his #5 update. Said EWR and CLE shrinking and the possibility the same for ORD.

How will the 175 base grow with no new 175’s coming on property?

From C5 side... #1 saying ord is prob next base and ord just got put on c5 ops spec. Wouldn’t surprise me if ewr was eliminated for c5 in next two years. But who knows. Can just say what I heard directly from #1.

I think the estimates are for around 2/3 of the 175 flying to end up out of ORD. So about 17 airplanes. Is that not growth? Right now the number is zero.
