All 1400 don’t get to interview. But yes, the math is a bit skewed here.

Maybe, but they also put out that they wanted to have interviewed all of the UAX pilots by the end of January.

So you either aren't getting an interview, and if you've managed to put it off this long, they're going to wonder why.

And UAL ain't partial to ANYTHING other than "Yes sir, 3 bags full. I have a perfect record because I haven't been around long enough to do anything."

Exactly. 6 types, probably over 15 recurrent events and just as many line checks with one oral failure........EW!

vs

CFI, 1800hrs, 1 type - flawless airline training failure (3 months on line). Dang kid! Where ya been all these years? Sign him up!

far from the truth my friend. Keep perpetuating the lies/half truths. Quite a few of us had skeletons in our closets and made it over

Didnt have a single person you described in my new hire class. All were either military or regional CA’s (LCA’s, instructors).

you sure are bitter

Has anyone from the Aviate program been in a newhire class at UAL?

We are referring to the union derived data from Aviate successors and those who were unsuccessful. Not CPP or OTS.

Not sure how that’s bitter but ok, whatever you say. Very happy you made it to UA. Perhaps had you applied through the Aviate program, you might not have made it. There’s a pretty clear CJO criteria that differs from programs of the past.

Pretty much. There are few substitutions.

So you're saying it's random then.

I wrote a letter of recommendation for an FO a few weeks ago. He’s a great guy , good pilot for his experience level, funny , great life story to tell since he’s from Cuba and has a 4 year degree. On the day he interviewed there were 8 FO’s from XJT and all
got no thank you letters. That’s 8 people under a year with no reason to stay here. The program needs a change.
