Default Other Regional to ExpressJet

I am currently an E175 typed pilot with 700+ Part 121 hours and 2400tt (no degree), so obviously a little on the low side for NK and F9. I am looking at ExpressJet as hours and upgrade opportunities dry up at my current carrier. Few questions...

I am assuming IAH an obtainable out of training, if you go to the 145 and will last for the foreseeable future?

Still looking like upgrade will be available once the 1000 Part 121 hours is reached?

How long is reserve on the CA side IAH E145?

What is schedule flexibility like?

The 145 is the back bone of ExpressJet. You値l upgrade faster in the 145. If you want IAH, the 145 is the way to go. If you wanna stay with the 175, you値l be going to ORD

Sorry I can稚 answer your question directly (I recently left Xjet) but I am absolutely blown away that Xjet is now the place people come to for quick upgrade and movement. When I joined a few years ago it was a huge gamble and disaster of an airline. Absolutely unbelievable how chaotic the regional industry is even with the highest demand for pilots ever.

It sounds like IAH is where the growth is on the 145 so yea, if your want it, your got it. Apparently they池e getting ready for street captains, so there you go as well. Keep in mind that street/immediate upgrade captains at any regional will typically be on reserve a while.

Can you please update us with if they let you pick the 145? I知 also 175 typed. I absolutely love that jet, but my main priority is flying a lot and the 145s are just fine with me. I don't have as many hours as you, so I would be stuck on the 175 for a long time. If flying picks up once they get the new planes, that would be great, so anyone has any information about that, please keep the forum updated.
