agreed. GoJet’s problem is it’s mgmt, not the planes they are flying.

Just running some numbers comparing Feb to March:
  • Over all, 14 more pilots on the seniority list.
  • The number of pilots on leave went up from 159 to 163.
  • The number of pilots that are bidding went up from 877 to 888.
  • The number of active pilots went up from 1276 to 1287.
  • Total number of lines dropped from 303 to 301.
  • Total number of captains went up from 507 to 509.
  • Total number of first officers went up from 370 to 379.
  • Number of pilots in training or non bidding status (upgrade, transition, new hire, chief pilot, management, ALPA, etc) stayed the same at 399.
Curious to see where this goes after the 175/145 announcement.

I’m more curious about the concessions the union agreed to for TSA to have soft landings at XJT

I don't think they would have to give up any. If XJT can get the TSA pilots, it would be beneficial for growing the airline by keeping their longevity for pay and vacation.

At current pay rates that would be a win for management. Hopefully our MEC wouldn’t be that stupid.

I’m ok with them having longevity and vacation. I’m afraid our MEC gave up seniority.

Agreed, longevity is perfectly fine, seniority would be a bridge too far!

Whatever the deal is we still have the right to vote on it so if it’s subpar then vote accordingly
