OK, if you call just over 100 a handful. Still though, no accounting breakdown of how the money is being spent. People are just supposed to believe them when they say 75%? And if this is the case, why aren't others doing the same thing, both at the regional and major level. ExpressJet management took forever to negotiate letter 2 stuff, in fact, they delayed it for well over a year. But when the elevator runs the other direction they are quick to act.

That's the most likely explanation of what's going on. And nobody is asking questions or holding their feet to the fire! Especially the MEC! It's amazing how their tone has shifted in the course of just a few months.

The 100 was just pilots. Not sure about the other groups. And where are you getting 13,000 from?

This hurts us all but dang what dont you guys understand. This is a privately owned business. They don’t have to show us anything or explain anything to us ever. They are in business for one thing only. To make money. Not to pander to us pilots. If they are not in business and making money why would they do it. Sorry it just amazes me pilots think they have a right to information.

As of 5/9, statement was "still having discussions", but expecting to get the $$ within a week.

Any airline that got CARES grants got a sum based off of 75% of last years payroll expense. I’d link a reference, but you can look it up yourself.

Sorry, but when they take taxpayer money in the form of a loan or grant, they do owe us an explanation!!!

All this talk about whether XJT mgmt. is doing or will do the "right thing" if they get CARES money...…….. I don't really care, quite frankly. I just want XJT to survive! Please, just do whatever it takes to survive and live to fight another day.

If there's a big furlough, but XJT survives, then we (jr FO's in my case) have a decent chance of someday come back to flying jets. If XJT fails, then we are in this huge group of out of work pilots (including all the senior XJT people), the vast majority of whom have more time/experience, competing for very few openings, starting over at the bottom of some list if we are very lucky.
