Damn I hope that's even close to being reality by the time I finish training. My parents live 10 miles from ONT. They're in their 70s, and it would be great to get to see them a little more often- PLUS I wouldn't need a crashpad, I could get a ride and a place to stay with good ol' mom and dad.

500 pilots have been hired since the new year.

As a capt i sat reserve 1 month in ONT and held a relief line after that. I have friends who just finished new hire training and are going to LA and they said they are holding lines right away. Good luck.

i have 1300 tt with 900 me, prior 121 experience on the erj 145. i have had my application in since 06/13/07 and still havent heard anything. good luck to anyone who hears something sooner then i have waited.

XJT has probably hired 140 pilots since then.

You might want to submit an update.

A friend of mine is in the same boat. 5000tt, 3000 glass/jet/121. Took time off to help raise a baby, meanwhile, company he's at goes out of business. Got current, and now wants to get a job at XJET as he want to be in IAH where he lives.

Hasn't heard anyting.

i was a feb new hire, out of training came out in the middle of the month with rsv days. but after that 2 months of holding 15 day off relief lines out of ont, and now in lax number in the top 30 for fo's.

I was out of the game for 2 years, got recurrent, had a friend take my resume to the EWR CP. Nothing from XJT. They wanted 100 hours in the last 6 months and were sticking to it.
