These assclowns in ATL need to renegotiate our CPAs with DL.

Supposedly, DAL has given them relief from the "2nd lowest" clause. But I agree with you.

According the management, the big problem is the XJT side CPA with UAL. You know, the one they negotiated when we bought them. Apparently now it's up to us to take concessions instead of them renegotiating that.

Hey, that's how it all started at Pinnacolaba.

UAL owns the ERJs. If they don't renegotiate, just self terminate the contract, give them back the planes, and tell them good luck finding a regional to staff them!

Heck it got real ugly for a while when RAH was trying to staff just 34 Q400s.

Has it gotten not so ugly staffing the Qs?

I hear the MEC has already picked his successor and it's someone from within. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss!

Because this management has such a strong record of standing up to our mainline "partners"? Don't bet on it.

Really, we have more leverage with DAL since we own all the 700s and most of the 200s. They still need them and want them. UAL would simply park everything but the XRs, then find some bottom feeder to fly them.

Express Jet CRJ200 2013 operations costs were $553.00 / block hour.
Endeavor CRJ200 2013 operations cost were $361.00 / block hour.

Express Jet flew 145,622 hours in 2013 at a cost of $80,518,920.
Endeavor could have flown the same block hours for $52,569,542

DAL will reduce CRJ200 operations in 2014

Who has the leverage ?

Delta is getting rid of 200s no matter what. It is in their pilot contract with a hard number. Whether they go away from Asa, Skywest, endeavor is just a matter of contracts, new deals, cost etc.
