Expressjet & TSA JS
A few quick questions for you Expressjet guys/gals in the know. I'll be travelling IAH-ZIH in a little bit and was interested in jumpseating.
Do you take offline jumps to Mexico in the first place? I know I won't have access to the cockpit JS.
Do I need to list? What about when leaving Mexico?
Do you take as many jumpseaters as there are open seats in the back?
For the TSA folks, I might jumpseat home on you IAH-XXX. Listing needed?
Thanks in advance from an out of practice guy.

ExpressJet E-145's cannot take any offline jumpseaters internationally. All jumpseating for the ExpressJet United operation is handled via paper form, and no computer listing entries are made except for CASS. Since it is via paper form, there is no way to add a jumpseater on the Gen Dec. Therefore, no offline jumpseaters are allowed in the cockpit or cabin. The only way to travel on ExpressJet internationally is through offline travel agreements such as Zed fares. Within the United States though ExpressJet will take unlimited jumpseaters if there is space available.

This sucks, given the upcoming screw-job of a pass program UAL is forcing on people.

Yeah, at the low low price of an extra $50 per leg on top of departure taxes...
