Express Jet/Horizon in ONT????

I've heard rumors that Express Jet and Horizon are thinking about bases in ONT (Ontario, CA). Any truth behind these rumors???

XJT sounds like a done deal....keep your ear to the ground for press release.... we are all anxious to hear....should know by Feb.... New perm bid comes out on by then so that will let us know one way or the other.

Any idea on the size of the ONT base(if true)? Do think it will go senior or will it be a new hire base?

Nobody tells me anything, but we have a lot of left-coast commuters in IAH. My WAG is that those people could just about staff it completely to begin with, but I seriously have no idea.

What's everyone else heard?

From what I have seen and heard, ONT will go pretty senior, especially for CA's. And right now, for FO's and FA's. And as far as I know, the flying is their own w/ several code shares in place as well as several charter contracts. But then, this could be rumor too. Goto the jobs page on x-jet website.
