If the LOA isnt extended at all then the company loses a few things that they really like. There is a lot more to LOA 14 then just 8 upgrades a month. If it dies the we lose CQFO, the new PBS bidding calendar, and APU just to name a few things. While I do think the LOA will be changed some, it won't die.

You'll be on reserve for 1-1/2 possibly 2 years and then 7 more to upgrade then back on reserve. I know PIC time doesn't matter, but I don't know anyone who would want to sit that long in the right seat of an RJ. It's a no brainier. Why would you go somewhere to sit reserve for so long while at other airlines there is way shorter reserve and upgrade time, plus a potential flow through or preferential interviews. I question my decision to come here almost everyday now. It's frustrating to see others taking delivers of new airplanes and new flying while we are just stagnant smh.
This is a self fulfilling prophecy. You won't recommend XJT because of upgrade time and reserve time. If we don't get new hires in the door then we can't upgrade, if we don't upgrade nobody comes off reserve and those times stay long so you won't recommend the place.

We need new hires for either one of those things to improve. In overall scheme of things this place and our management aren't bad. I was with 9E when they were Pinnacle and our management is tons better. Our contract is a lot better. I totally agree we need some good news but pushing people away from here to other regionals is like cutting off your hand because you fingernail is to long.

Of course Delta offers a "Guaranteed Interview" when I leave, of course. I'm happy however, thoughts on the just announced program? Apparently it's for those folks who had to do the full Delta General Knowledge Test and MMPI testing. Discuss.

Apparently an email sent to those today that accomplished the delta style interview and passed it when they were hired at XJT/ASA. Not sure when they started it I'm guessing late 2011-early 2012 and ended it sometime after that. I don't think it was for more than a year or two. You only received the email if you were part of that group. So... Only FOs.

So you pass a Delta interview, but you're guaranteed another Delta interview? good for those folks... Its a little something more I guess.

An email came in a few mins after 3pm that said if you're getting this you took the "delta interview tests" and passed. Congrats and you'll be given an interview when you're competitive. At 4:40 the email is now gone from my messages and is apparently being rescinded and specifics reviewed before re sending. Mine is still in my email it was forwarded to.

That's the three tests with the teeter totter deal and stuff? Because I took that back in 2013.
