It looks to me like they are pretty much saying that.

(I feel bad for folks who still work there. A LOT of really great people...... But yep, I think things are headed in an ominous direction. ASA has a seniority problem. It's tough to stay in business competing against a whole bunch of other regionals with 1/5 the average seniority.)

I hope there are a few more years of flying available, but it's very obvious that Delta is gonna bail as soon as the ATL connection contract is up.

Team,

I know there are a lot of questions surrounding the movement of our 200 aircraft, and as I’ve said before, I will share information to the best of my knowledge as soon as possible.

That said, here’s what I know of the CRJ200 fleet over the course of the year.

American CRJ200s
We have 14 American CRJ200s total. Twelve are being replaced by CRJ700s and two will remain on line for our pro-rate flying in Meridian and Hattiesburg.

The twelve aircraft being removed are owned by SkyWest, Inc. and will be swapped out at SkyWest Airlines. This is not a net growth for SkyWest, as they are replacing more expensive 200s in their fleet. It is purely a common sense financial decision. In addition, four of the CRJ700s that we will be flying are coming from SkyWest Airlines.

Delta CRJ200s
We currently have 37 Delta CRJ200s. Of these 37:
Approximately half will be sold by us to Delta while six others will be subleased. As we understand it, some will be going to Endeavor. Some will be dismantled for parts. As these aircraft will be owned by Delta, it is up to their discretion how and in what way they will be utilized.
The remaining aircraft will be returned to their third party owner, which is not the company, SkyWest, Inc., or Delta.
My goal is to remain as upfront as possible. I’m happy to continue talking about this movement in the next pilot conference calls, which will be held the week of January 23. Specific call information will be coming soon. A summary will also be available for those who can’t make it.

Regards,
Greg
I'll be crop dusting EDV pilots as I walk past them in ATL.

You do realize EDV pilots have absolutely nothing to do with this, right? It's far above all of our paygrades.

Of course. I was just joking. I had to type something else to post the quoted content. And I wanted to do so in my typical Dingus fashion.

You DON'T want to start that war... consider how stinkier EDV pilots are! :D

On a serious note, I hope this means good things for you guys, not bad things. Bigger aircraft are a good thing (I think).

We are not going to get 37 dual-class aircraft to replace these. The company will lie to our faces until the doors close to keep pilots on property. Most FOs and junior CAs are bailing ASAP. Good luck everyone.

Sincerely,
6.5 year FO bailing immediately

If you go on Delta Travelnet and pick just about any city pair L-ASA is currently flying for Delta and check about 6 months out you'll see that it's all scheduled to be flown by EDV. Does this confirm the EDV ATL base and that L-ASA will be gone later in 2017?
