Just calling it the way I see it. I've been wrong before, and I'd love to be wrong about this..... I wasn't trying to throw stones or pass judgement, I was just sharing my view that the situation looks real bad. I can't imagine how parking half the fleet could possibly be a good thing-but hey, I'm no MBA-by any means. I sincerely wish you all the very best of luck. I spent a long time at the place, and I'll always think highly of the people I worked with. The jobs market is very good right now. I'd take advantage of it. |

I don't remember running across those guys. That's a very strange attitude.
I don't understand accusing anyone of "selling out" for trying to escape a place which is almost certainly closing. This was after the announcement of the loss of the 200s, but before this DTW/LGA news. I can't imagine anyone would argue now. |

It sounds like you're salty about other people's success because you either can't or don't want to move on elsewhere.
My point is 2 fold. Everyone's situation is their own. Today there are so many variables for pilots. Every situation is as different as each pilot is different. Point 2 - a pilot that has very little time in this industry to be giving advice is childish. Worry about yourself not someone else. You wouldn't want someone telling you how to be a CPT would you. Tata junior P.S. my financial situation will blow yours away. I've been very very fortunate in my career/life and the reason I stay where I am is for the quality of life. |

If someone goes to xyz airline, even though it wouldn't be your choice, then that's great. It fits his mold/game plan. Wish them the best of luck! We have enough problems battling Crew Sch...Management etc. |

It's not so much the judgement as it is telling someone what direction.
