I was talking to my friends at XJT. I was really hoping there was gonna be some good news for my buddies still there.

Haha... thanks. I guess no news is good news around here. I'm fairly certain SkyWest, Inc. will never allow a new airframe on XJT property, so we can rule out that sort of announcement right off the bat. I'm thinking that once the summer rush is over, a closure of either ORD or EWR (if not both!) will be forthcoming. No sense in accelerating the exodus while we have passengers to move around for our "partner".
