Some men like Traditional wives. Granted, they are hard to come by these days but they do exist. The way the courts incentivize women to destroy their own homes these days it doesn't matter if she works or not. YOU ARE GETTING SCREWED EITHER WAY!
But no kids, in many jurisdictions it comes down to who's the bigger earner... good female friend of mine is getting hosed as we speak because the kids are out, soon-to-be-ex-hubby got fired about ten years ago so he bounced between unemployment and low-key, low-pay jobs for a decade. She's the breadwinner so she pays... he gets one of the houses: the one SHE bought in the 90's when she and I lived together and dude wasn't even in the picture. No the divorce wasn't her idea. |

Nothing at all. But you'd better have found the right woman, otherwise it's going to cost you. Or be OK with paying up in the end-game, might even be worth that to raise your kids in a good home. Also accept that fact that the employment compensation system has evolved to assume two working adults, especially in high COL areas. Fortunately most pilots can eventually make double-income money with just their job. |

Well I didn't follow the rule that is cheaper to keep her.
I'm sure there's someone out there that is paying alimony. My situation 20 yrs married. She has not worked for 10 yrs. No kids. I'm a MD Captain Anyone with a similar situation, your information would help. tell her that she can rent the room and live free in exchange for the payments…. Put her in a binding lease. Start bringing home some winners, party late, make lots of noise. That might help. She moves out, breaks said lease. Works like a champ. Problem solved! |

Ya...not to mention would be better off living off grid or in a bubble. Once she gets bored with staying at home and being so obedient to her "PIC" she will realize there are a lot of others she can be subservient to that have a lot more money than us chumps. 😂

I know! Very rich men always go for the 30 something divorce' when they can easily pick up an 20 something with no baggage and no kids. Please put down the crack pipe sir. You are about as delusional as the 38 year old baby mama who thinks life will improve by leaps and bounds if she destroys her family willingly for the greener pastures of single momdom.

Apparently a lot. Traditional families have worked great for thousands of years. We decided to reinvent the wheel in the 60's and boy has it been a grand experiment.
