I am still married to my first wife. We are still very much in love and thankful for one another. We are traditionalists. We despise feminism. Her more than me. It is our belief that it is one of the biggest lies foisted upon the west. My wife works a very light part time job so I am the breadwinner. She takes care of most of the household duties. Expectations are set by hundreds of years of hundreds and hundreds of years of tradition and our upbringing. Men are better at certain things and women are better at other things. We tend to stick to our lanes or strong suits. We believe women are far superior socially. Their social iq is vastly superior to a man's. Men tend to be more logical in their problem solving and don't let emotions drive outcomes as much as women do. At the end of the day we believe the man is the head of the household but it is not a dictatorship in any way shape or form. I used to buy into a lot of this post modern feminism crap when I was younger but age has given me clarity and I/we see it as terribly destructive to the family structure.

I preferred that my wife not have to work; that was not my choice as I don't micromanage my wife, but I made that choice possible for her and we both agreed that remaining home was the best choice. Perhaps you have a problem with that. Too bad. If it's beyond you or your comprehension, also too bad.

Deserve to pay alimony? That's really not your concern. That's for a mutual call based on mediation, or for a judge to say.

If you think men haven't been "screwed" in a divoce, then you haven't ever been divorced.

A wife staying home isn't a "business decision." It's a life choice. Don't confuse the two.

Most people don't marry and structure their marriage based on dissolution, any more than you dust off your coffin every time you go fly. THINK.

well said. buying into feminism is a way for some guys to pump and dump, what kind of dude sincerely buy that crap? If you don’t have an old school woman, you are missing out big time.
