Default Did any one notice?

OK, I could just be imagining this, but it seemed like during open time, I didn't get any "Vips Server is Busy" notifications.

Could it be we have a new improved server?

If so, I appreciate the company stepping up to fix a problem that has been a thorn in my side for about 15 years.

Of course, it all could have been a dream...

Ha, I think you might have been too hopeful and it was just a dream. I did get one of those last night. My take, it seemed like kind of a slow night, not as many people putting in for trips as usual (at least in my seat). Maybe everybody was working.

I was appreciative that they processed the trades pretty quick.

I saw 500+ submissions for one -11 F/O trip at one point.

LOL. There are only 503 pilots on the -11F seniority list.

Pretty impressive considering there are only 461 MD-11 f/o's in the bid pack.

Of course, all it takes is one person to earlier time stamp you.

Yea I don't quite get that one, either FXcal's numbers are off or people are submitting multiple tries for the same trip

Default Denied - insufficient reserves?

On a different but related subject ...

I've always assumed that the "DENIED - INSUFFICIENT RESERVES" prompt was the scheduling computer default response.

Thus ... Return, Return, Return, Return and 4 schedule adjustments have been processed (in maybe 10 seconds)? I hope I'm wrong?

Happy holidays everyone!

It took one hour and 9 minutes to deny my trade due to max open exceeded. Is there a way to know before a trade submission if there is enough coverage to approve the trade? Do people submit multiple trades in case the first one or two are denied?

After logging on to PFC, click on Bid Line Adjustments, then under trip trade click on Reserve Allocation Summary. From there you can select any Aircraft type, Base and Seat “Capt/FO. It will give you an idea of what the Manning is on on certain days.
