Trip cheater/wolf pack equalizer
Ok, if you are like me you're tired of seeing the same small group of dudes on the company's greatest trips. Some of them are getting these trips honestly (secrets of the contract), and some dishonestly (termination if caught).
This post will hopefully equalize the honest method and allow more pilots to utilize the contract fairly for great trips, and not just a select few.
1. get a carryover trip, the longer the better.
2. Bid a secondary line the following month.
3. Ask for MIN DAYS OFF on your secondary line construction.
4. Your secondary line will be built up to the secondary line guarantee, minus the carryover credit hours (C/O + Secondary = Secondary BLG)
5. The remaining hours (the carryover hours), will be placed in your bank as PNP (Priority Non-Premium).
6. Accumulate these PNP hours and get second dibs (PMU gets first dibs) on the sweet X-Pairings and Charter trips.
7. To Take it a step further:
a. Drop your crappie trips (or entire month even)
b. VIPS, bid line adjustments, general makeup submission.
c. enter local base date you wish to fly (you can do this for every day of the month if you wish)
d. select PNP and then enter.
e. in RED it will display how many other pilots are requesting make-up (shows ALL m/u requests not just PNP) for this date.
f. select your restrictions (e.g.. intl only, double deadhead, 4 day max, ect...).
g. wait for crew scheduling to hopefully assign you a sweet trip, even while you are asleep.zzzzzz

My PNP is zero and I use carryover to conflict (and never make up) trips often. How exactly does one accumulate PNP? I guess I have no idea what it is but from reading OPs post it seems to imply I’d have a bunch.
Disclaimer: before you call me a Yes voter who didn’t even read the TA, I voted No. I got to “lie flat” and that was enough.

Just a word of advice to any of you other new guys who might try this. When you make a GMU submission, you are essentially on call and could be called for a last minute trip. Be ready to head out the door or face having an irregularity report filed when you can’t. If you don’t live in Memphis, I would highly recommend not doing this. Even if there is a front end deadhead, you may be assigned a trip you can’t make. There is no accepting the trips, they are just assigned to you and it’s a no show if you can’t make it for whatever reason.
