6800TT
3000+TPIC
5 Jet type ratings
12 years International experience in Asia, EU, SA, ME, and Africa

I had 8000+TT
1200 TPIC
LCA

I know people hired with less TT and no LCA

On that subject, what are competitive military mins these days?

For me:
7,000 Total
6,000 Jet
4,000 Jet PIC
About 70-75 countries flown to/from, so lots of international and crossings.
And I prepared like a madman for the interview once invited.

In the last 2-3 years, I've seen single seat guys just under 2000 and heavy guys in the 3-4000 range.

I might be taking my family on a trip after I retire from the AF and I'm considering getting Global Entry for all of us (4 total). I have the AMEX Platinum so 2 of us will be reimbursed.

Do you guys that are pilots in the civ world use this also when you are flying on the job internationally or is there another way you process customs and immigration that makes it meaningless?

What I am really asking, is Global Entry useful as a FedEx (or any other airline) pilot?

very useful, even more so as a FedEx pilot, as you are more likely to be out of uniform, so ineligible for crew line (in some places)

Yes, GE includes pre-check which you’ll use if you are at an airport without KCM.

Late 2016, I know a USAF heavy guy hired with 2500 total, 1700 PIC. Know a few since then with interviews below 3000 USAF heavy hours. Haven’t heard of a single mil heavy guy getting called below 2000 total though.
