Yeah, get rid of all makeup, it's BS! If you drop your entire month because the trips stink or they conflict with family activities, you should just go unpaid all month. No makeup trips allowed for you! People should be forced to fly whatever trips they are awarded, whether they want to or not.:eek:

It's just an example of a tiny minority of people who think it's worth it to massively inconvenience the rest of the crew force so they might get a little benefit here and there.

It would be an easy no brainer to keep the 125% pay and either do away with the priority or figure out another palatable way, and 99% of us would be much happier with real time trip trading.

And 99% of us think it’s also just that simple too..

With my short time here, coming from another airline, I would like to see real time trip trading over OTP/substitution. It seems kind of ridiculous to wait 90+ minutes to be denied a trip trade after the window opens. Just because you get rid of substitution and replace it with just being paid for the trip removed (like other airlines do it in some variation or other), doesn’t mean that you get stuck flying the trips that were originally awarded. Many other places have both real time trip trading and ability to drop/trade/swap trips throughout the month without losing pay.

Get rid of MakeUp and allow guys to pick up trip to FAR limitation. That’s what I’m saying. Having makeup doesn’t guarantee you getting a trip in OT

True. Could you imagine letting people pick up trips to FAR limits....that would cut the need for paying people draft pay, and slow down hiring. The company would like that.

If StarClipper worked here he would understand that...[emoji23]
