Default New plane manuals.

Does anyone know how to get the company to give me all of the training material for my upcoming class? I’d like to get studied up. PHB, airplane manual, etc. thanks.

You'll get a company IPAD and company website access to get the information you want when you start training. They don't give access until you start for obvious reasons. Someone from a recent class may have more accurate info than this.

Training is excellent and you really won't need to do any aircraft training until you get here. Get a jump on crashpads, transportation, and loose ends at home as soon as you can.

A couple years ago they were sending out flash drives with manuals a couple weeks before class date.

I would focus on company policies and proceedures before class date, I wouldn’t get into specific aircraft stuff until you get in the door. There’s a good chance you’ll get at least a week off b/w general indoc and acft specific training.

Sorry for the confusion. I’m already on property, going captain in the last bid. Just wondering if they’ll push the manuals to my iPad a couple of weeks in advance? And if anyone knows how I can request them. Thanks

Download them as a PDF from VIPS. Just go to the training department link and you should be able to find them from there.

Is it possible that someone could be here for at least nine years and not know that every single Flight Operations Manual, Flight Operations Manual Highlights, Flight Operations Manual archives, Flight Manual Bulletin, Flight Manual, Flight Training Manual, Pilot Handbook, Pilot Handbook Supplement, Combined Pilot Handbook and Handbook Supplement, Quick Reference Handbook, Aircraft Systems Manual, Normal Checklist, Flight Management System Manual, and Minimum Equipment List for every airplane in our fleet is available on pilot.fedex.com/manuals?

Maybe I spend too much time on pilot.fedex.com.

The free version, that is.

And we have free printers in the AOC to print them all out with.

Me, personally, I prefer the color printers. FM1 ..., FM4 ..., FM6 ...

but to each his own.

If you figure out how to format the printing properly, FedEx Office will cut them to size and spiral bind them for a reasonable price. They do a lot better than Southern Graphics, who has yet to figure out the correct way to spiral bind our QRH's so they don't self-destruct when used.
