new hires going where?
where are new hires being based? Used to be ANC was the least wanted base but then it went to foreign bases. Thinking of jumping from my legacy to my original choice but have a family now and need to think of the pros and cons

I would say unless you wanted Hong Kong (specifically), you’re going to Memphis, 100%. Haven’t seen a new hire to Cologne or Anchorage in 2-3 years, and we’ve have a splattering of Hong Kong spots but, again, you have to volunteer to go there.
Usually any vacancies for Cologne, Anchorage, Indy and LA are swallowed up by current pilots during a bid. Rumor is our next one will be in September.
