One 767 does not replace an MD-11.
Almost 60 MD-11s need to be replaced at some point and using two 767s to replace one MD-11 would consume even more gate space than a 777XF. The gate space issue will need to be solved by changing the whole operation somehow, some way.

The gate space issue can be solve by opening more hubs/bases or utilizing what we already have. I think once IND is complete they can start to shift more freight that way. Plus to rule out Greensboro, Miami or even Newark if they really need to

Yeah combined with a decline in volumes once the economy eventually slows down, the 767 + a more diversified hub system could actually replace the MD domestically, and even internationally in some segments, but not today. IND expansion will be a step in that direction maybe.
