Isn't that the point of the vaccination? Im neither pro vac or anti vac. Don't you take the vaccination so you can go to work as long as you are not symptomatic? So why would you expect to get out of work if not symptomatic and not a positive test?

Again, if you had close contact you can’t go international for 14 days. Ain’t no way around it.

I don’t think it’s fair that the unvaccinated should get two free paid weeks off, no.

I would rather be paid half like many other outfits last year and most of this year outside our job description. Right, Wrong or Fair don’t care, but what a Really Good deal that was. Would have been nice to have a break, but it’s nice to have a job as well - No arrhythmic dysfunction..

Close contact. Vaccinated. Removed from International trip and placed in Sub. Domestic only. YMMV.

So our union should have negotiated to have them go out unpaid? So pre vaccination all pilots should have had to use all the sick bank they had to cover being for ed to stay home due to being a first hand contact? After vaccination release we should have forced everyone to get the pokey? If not we should have punished those who chose not to by making a first hand contact an unpaid leave if sick bank was exhausted?

Correct. And some of our pilots now feel that should be unpaid if not vaccinated. Talk about divide and concur.

I wouldn’t. Keep in mind that whole time many of those (Jr Pilots) on leave thought they had or would loose their job. Many lost marriages over it. Some suicides also. Lets not discredit the stress as those bills we’re passed and then at the last hour extended 2 times.
