Default New Indy Ops building

Anyone go through Indy last night for the first night hub turn in the new ops building? Any early reviews? How long of a bus ride to the 100 gates.

I was there today. I was at Gate 18 and 20, so pretty close. Bus ride was normal. New building is nice. Sleep rooms have bathrooms and showers next to them, and the beds are comfortable. Thermostats in the room, although not sure if they really heat/cool individual rooms, but mine was comfortable. No box fan or chair in the room, but the ID badge entry worked great, and the room was very quiet. I didn't hear any outside noise. No cafeteria, but there is a bunch of vending machines with different food and drink options. Same noisy coffee maker. Security right there to get out to the main road. Overall the building seems like a great improvement. Waiting on fitness equipment and new recliners. There are a bunch of different areas to relax, store items, etc. There's still some finishing touches, but everything went smooth. One possible issue is the road to the building has a section that only one bus at a time can drive down. Not sure if the future plan is to widen it or not, so your bus may have to stop and wait while other vehicles drive by the other direction first.

I love that coffee machine as well, as long as I'm the only one in line. I don't have thirty minutes to wait for 6 people in front of me.

I was there and the ride to the 50 gates, including the wait outside at the bus stop, was 20 minutes. I’d wager you need about half a day to get to the 100 gates.

The sleep rooms are nice but no cell signal in the basement where the sleep rooms are located.

I don't know how I'll be able to enjoy sleep without someone fighting with their Brazilian gf on their cell phone at 2am next door.

cell service conning soon - I believe AT&T and Verizon installing repeaters but not T-Mobile

I wouldn’t be opposed to cell jammers in the sleep rooms

I personally don’t care about making or receiving calls, but sometimes I’d like to get on APC or our Facebook group and I had no signal. When using the company wifi all the fun websites are blocked.
