Contract 2016 had amendable date of 1Sept21

Extension 2020 extended amendable to 1Sept23

Extension 2022 extended amendable to 1Sept25

Formal contract negotiations will now begin one year before amendable on 1Sept24

Do you really think ALPA and FDX management are going to go higher than UPS?
Is this a joke? Every FedEx pilot should EXPECT and REQUIRE the highest rates in the industry if they are considering voting yes. Anything less is an insult.

It appears you are stating they have accomplished improvements that have already taken place pre Covid. It doesn’t appear that way from what I see.

I would also say the details of these agreements would have thrown the loud FDX posters on this forum into a hizzy. You included. Are you then going to be supportive of an agreement that has pay/retirement like this?

They're already ahead of us. These deals just increase the gap.

good luck getting that.

Even using very optimistic predictions for future inflation, the pay rates only peek (not peak, I mean they barely stick up above the plane) above the inflation slope briefly each year with the pay rates, then fall below inflation for the majority of the year.

Respectfully, I've been scolded on here having faith in the NC and Union going into these negotiations. But UPS pilots have negotiated three pay increases above C2015 and I think it is a bridge too far.

Agree 100%. But I just don't see this union, our union, FedEx pilots getting it done. I continually fly with FOs who have no idea that other airline pay rates went above ours in the few months after C2015 was inked. I am not blaming FOs, that's who I fly with. I'm sure there's plenty of CAs who are equally as uneducated on our current pay status. Hardly anyone knows that UPS scored an pay increase in 2020. Worse, as we were getting kudos for our COVID operations, we lost any pay incentive related to COVID operations where elsewhere pilots were getting 200%. It's time FedEx pays up, but they're not. It's FedEx. Look at how they're screwing over FedEx Ground contractors.

I guess I assumed that the UPS union put those charts out. If they did, it looks like they are trying to make it sound good. In hind sight, maybe Tony made them. If he did make them, then my comment doesn't make sense and I apologize for jamming up the internet with garbage.

But if they were made by the union, it looks similar to a sales job I saw here at FedEx in 2015.

They are from the UPS IPA. I have the same slides from a friend at UPS.

Not much of a sales job when it shows inflation pretty much eating your entire “raise”. Refreshingly honest, actually.
