Standard Negotiating Tactics
Always remember that negotiations are all a game. It's like buying a car, who will blink first. Sounds like the company is using the same tired excuse of not having enough money to give us what we deserve. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but the company negotiators said the same thing during the 2015 negotiations. 2015 contract gets signed and then May of 2016 FedEx acquires TNT for around $5 billion. Funny how all that money showed up all of a sudden! Let's stick together on this one and get what we have earned!

Yes. They bought TNT (Tomorrow Not Today) immediately after C2015.
They announced and continued with e $5 billion stock buyback while also trying to save $4 billion this year.
If Delta can afford it, FedEx can for sure.

FedEx nor any other airline or Air Line management group has some strategic plan to wear out the pilots. They know the pilots will do it to themselves. They just need to wave around a bit of premium pay and pilots jump over themselves to oblige. The temporary problems then go away as the pilots fixed it for them. Then once the extra help isn’t needed the premium pay disappears and back to ops normal of playing the long game under the labor laws. It’s not that complicated. Hope all those pilots going the extra mile over the past two years are enjoying this stage of negotiations now. Thank them.

this one pony show, crying all the time about drf/ava. he’s upset he didn’t get any … or did he? this lying, cowardly POS is why the company has no respect for us, these vocal buffoons with falsely inflated egos. I propose a NoBrainsAllEgo cutout, we all get a raise except him.

Does the truth hurt to hear? We are getting exactly what we deserve and we’re willing to not fight for. Put yourself in the company shoes. Why would you pay more when the majority are willing to do it at the current rate.
The company is now laughing as they play this group out in the long game.
A contract isn’t based around how much we went above and beyond it’s based on what you were willing to fight for. Tell me how much we were willing to fight for the last two years?

It's only been 7 days.
If he continues to condemn pilots for making personal choices, and FedEx associates that, ever how distantly, with a change in how people make those choices, we could find ourselves dealing with very ugly problems. As it stands, he is putting our union at risk of being enjoined.
Maybe he convinced the Admins that he's not a pilot so he could get out of solitary confinement early.

All,
We are at end game. Regardless of how we got here, here we are. Like it or not, we appear to be headed further down the RLA process than we have in a long time. These efforts are going to take every pilot. We are all going to have to be educated and engaged with our union's effort to gain the industry leading contract we all deserve.
I am going to be focused positive gains. If those positive gains are not there, well, we will cross that bridge when we get there, but we won't get there until we work together. This is going to take every pilot this time. There has never been a better time in the history of aviation to improve all aspects of our contract and we should rally together.
We can fight amongst ourselves later, right now, stay focused.
In the end, we will get the contract we deserve. Deserve more.

Moderator says NoBrains is getting a 30 day break … and now not even two weeks later he’s back on posting his same old judgmental BS.
There’s something very odd about the whole situation.
