Lol at all these anti Memphis people. Have no idea what they are talking about. Nobody from here lives or does anything downtown. Just stay in the suburbs lIke any other city on the face of the earth. I’ve had zero incidents in 20+ years.

That's all well and good until you have to brave 240 and go to work. Even then you could get shot on the freeway. Or have an attempted car jacking if you dare stop at a red light in the middle of the night. Both of those have actually happened to FedEx pilots. But yes, the burbs are fine, usually.

Been here a fraction of that. In that time, friends from my newhire class have been sideswiped by the lunatics on 240 (hit and run), rear ended while at stoplights by cars going 70mph, carjacked at gas stations, and shot at while on the road.
