It’s a good idea when you work MAYBE 15 hours a month because you never get called on reserve. But y’all have fun in the airports and in those crash pads

Let me know what date you're starting.
Doesn't make much sense in black and white does it?

I’d do Juarez over memphis for sure. Better tacos and you can actually buy your safety unlike memphis.

Nashville area. Franklin and Brentwood are decent. Lots of good places about 4 hours away from MEM. If you're willing to take a bit more of a drive Manchester, TN is 5 hours away and up on the Plateau by on the way to Chattanooga. I liked it down there. Good trails and biking. Not a bad place to have a plane either. There are some nice areas of Southern Illinois with rolling spurs and limestone cliffs that are drivable to MEM. I'm not a FDX guy, so I don't know exactly how your trips are built out. Still, about 4 hours was my comfortable drive-in-to-fly distance when I was in the area.
You’re telling me the execs at FedEx and Autozone, the players on the Grizzles, the Drs. at St. Jude’s don’t live in Memphis?

“70?! That’s two over BLG! Sold!” - any disconnected FedEx pilot ignoring the fact that pilots at other AIR LINES are rolling thunder on reserve collecting green slips equating to well over 100 hours of credit every month, dare I say over 150 hours, “wow that’s enough draft to guarantee a divorce!”

Comparably we aren’t even in the fruit category (apple vs orange thang) and everyone mentioned previously can command a price or salary based on experience or excellence if they leave to work elsewhere - we do not…and start over.
