a) they will control those metrics and will manipulate them accordingly
b) it will be metrics that are completely disconnected from the drivers of dividend payments and stock price which has become their only interest
I'm prepared to strike while voting no while striking while picketing and voting no.
Let's f'ing go!

Yeah why are we still hoping for better? When people show you who they are you should believe them the first time! Can we stop playing games now? I've been repeating this from the beginning. There's no give and take to achieve a deal. We should make clear what our position is and don't move an inch towards theirs. They got all of their carry the last 6+ years. I'm a no vote on anything less than industry leading pay, benefits and retirement. F no concessions. It's time for no compromises.
This whole process has been a disrespectful slap in the face and the public statements aimed directly at our financial well being is a declaration of terms that require nothong less than capitulation.
You can split hairs and look for silver linings in the steaming pile of $!?+ that comes out of these "negotiations ". Just like some of you can fly every damn day if you want to. But never say no one tried to counsel for a different direction.

I read it, and they didn't say that, ask you rep. Why are we wasting any time on it then?
"With the mediator’s assistance, we spent the remainder of the session developing and discussing a concept designed to create momentum on compensation." -Waste of time, auto no vote.
"We made it clear the concept is not a substitute for acceptable guaranteed rate increases."
Key word in the last sentence is 'acceptable' - my take 'acceptable' meaning less than Delta but the opportunity for more with "specific economic performance metrics of FedEx Corporation". Nope FUPM.

Keep in mind that Delta’s pay rate will snap up to whatever UA gets too. UA isn’t going to come in at less than DL.
If we accept less than DL rates, we will truly lag when they snap up to UA rates and also snap up to AA rates as those contracts roll in.
