FedEx Brothers & Sisters,
I'm an ANC-based UPS guy who only lives 2.5 hours drive from MEM (vs 7 hours from SDF) and so I'm hoping to use FDX to get up there. Question is: where do I park when jumpseating from Memphis? Google Maps show parking lots everywhere. Which ones will a shuttle pick you up at? Any of them secured or are they all opened to the public?
I tried a search, but couldn't find much. Thank you in advance!

There is a guard at the entrance, you just tell him that you are jump seating and they will let you in. There is a bus stop and you just tell the driver that you are jump seating and you need a ride to AOC, You can also call 901-224-5486 to request a ride.
It is theoretically not accessible to public, but there have been multiple cases of break ins, specially windows and looking for guns. So, it is somewhat safe, but not 100% secure.

To emphasize above: You'll most likely need to call that number listed above when you park. The pilots have a new parking lot and the crew buses don't regularly run to the old Democrat lot anymore.

Slightly off topic question: it's my understanding that you guys don't commute via company jumpseat as much as we do. With all the cost-cutting measures taking place at FedEx, is there any chatter about you guys having to use more company jumpseats versus commercial tickets as a way to save money?
