Many of our younger pilots that I have flown with do not want an A plan. They want a bigger B fund with cash over cap.

So there are already two tribes.

Default YES

Well, they only need to get to 50% now because I just voted "YES"....though I suspect I'm not the only one. I know a number of very reasonable people who were originally a "Hard NO" who went to the roadshow and listened to the answers to questions and were satisfied to believe that while this is not what they expected, it is the best course of action in the short and long run. As a matter of fact, I spoke to another who called me on my days off to ask what I thought. He was a previous "NO" vote and told me he had changed his mind. He's a young guy with two years on the property.....been at two other airlines....

Most yes votes will be quiet at this point because of the shrill verbal harangues on places like here and others, with name-calling, character assassinations, and wild accusations of pay-offs instead of staying with a thoughtful line of serious debate. As a matter of fact, I voted yes on the contract that many were hired under and were "Thrilled to be here" (Though I did not like that either)....I am one of the only guys I know that admit to voting "YES" in 2015.

You can characterize me anyway you want....I've been called a number of things for the past 8 years because of that...Including a "NO" voter back then (one of my best friends who has never voted "YES" on anything here)....who was originally "NO", but is no "YES".....I will have to live under this TA possibly for the next 9 years, however we negotiate again in 3.5years and no doubt the enthusiastic "NO" voters who have a plan, and want to get involved, will have yet another opportunity to shape their future then......I suspect to re-open all of the contract will likely take about as long. Hopefully whomever has volunteered to be on the "New NC and MEC" will put their names out now so we can support them when we go back into serious negotiations in 2027 one way or another.....Has anyone volunteered to run for MEC Chairman, block rep, or interested in the job of NC?

I just watched both videos and really have to laugh at the reasons people are NO voters, at least the posters on here. I've been a NO voter on every contract until now. I originally thought this vote would be close but my guess is 70% or higher. Just put in my YES. You are welcome everyone.

Go ahead and kick that can down the road! What will you be willing to give up next? Better believe they will come for more. Eventually we will have nothing else to give.

QOL gains? Can you name one specifically? Seriously, one real QOL gain at all? Or how about even something QOL-related that isn't a concession? No, breast milk pumping stations don't count.

Pension fixed for everyone? So can you explain to me how a 5 year guy with 25 years to go wins here? We got a pension bump well behind where it should be considering that it hasn't been improved in 24 years, and we removed the pension for new hires. So anyone who keeps the pension that they have EARNED will do so with the knowledge that it will never again be improved before they retire, since future negotiations will ignore it now that a significant number of pilots will no longer have it. Wonder how 169k in 2048 will compare to 130k in 1999? Probably not very well is my guess.

I feel dirty for even responding to you, but it is so critical that we vote this POS down. My NO vote is already in.

A big NO from me at 1001 this morning. No matter how many bs emails comes from the ALPA / MEC morons (got 4 today), the vote is NO….

Pensions are dumb for those who have a long time left on property and have a nasty tendency of going away. The MBCBP is uber conservative and has serious unanswered questions.

Yes, as a junior pilot I do not want a pension. I want a 20% CoC B-fund. If this garbage gets voted in, I most certainly will be a fan of terminating the A plan for a bigger contribution B plan on every negotiation after this.

…And to add to the split, as a junior pilot I do want the A Plan. I would prefer that the A Plan not be voted away or axed as I believe in the fundamental legs of retirement (pension, social security, 401k, savings) are being hacked away and we will be left with just one leg to lean on.
