A 2 scenario prediction during the voting period.
1. If we get to 50% +1 ‘Yes’ votes, FDX ALPA let’s it ride to the concessionary turd it is.
2. As soon as it hits 50% +1 ‘No’ votes, the MEC will pull it before the final day. They will send it back to the NC who will add just enough to get the 50% +1. This way they save face and protect their ALPA /future management position. Management will happily agree because it seems they’re on the same team with the dual propaganda coming out. It’ll still be a turd but with a little whip cream on top.
We need it to go all the way with a strong ‘no’ vote! We need new perspective at the table the second time around. Apparently the smartest guys in the room weren’t as smart as they think they are. How else could someone produce such a turd and try to sell it as a rose?

That answer is simple:
Everyone will work under the substandard industry pay rates
Many will live under the scheduling & work rule concessions
Some will retire under increased A plan benefits, though not as quickly, or in the numbers, some predict
Those retiring before 2028 will fade into the shadows. Those that remain will try to fight again another day
We all have an important choice to make. Everyone should chose wisely,
In Transparency, Integrity and Unity (for Everyone),
DLax
p.s. We still have a 99% strike authorization vote. The company looks beyond the NC & MEC, and looks directly at the pilots. Their vision is laser focused now. What will they see?

Yes to industry leading rates of pay (76-3 & AB300)
Yes to QOL gains and Scope protections we previously didn’t have during 4.A.2.c and furlough
Yes to finally getting a pension that fixes our pension for ALL including those yet to be hired
Yes to improvements made in revision payments and triggers
Yes to removal of open time clogging of made up HSBY
Yes to QOL gains and Scope protections we previously didn’t have during 4.A.2.c and furlough
Yes to finally getting a pension that fixes our pension for ALL including those yet to be hired
Yes to improvements made in revision payments and triggers
Yes to removal of open time clogging of made up HSBY
The harder you push these next couple of weeks, the more I will know we are defeating this TA.

QOL gains? Can you name one specifically? Seriously, one real QOL gain at all? Or how about even something QOL-related that isn't a concession? No, breast milk pumping stations don't count.
Pension fixed for everyone? So can you explain to me how a 5 year guy with 25 years to go wins here? We got a pension bump well behind where it should be considering that it hasn't been improved in 24 years, and we removed the pension for new hires. So anyone who keeps the pension that they have EARNED will do so with the knowledge that it will never again be improved before they retire, since future negotiations will ignore it now that a significant number of pilots will no longer have it. Wonder how 169k in 2048 will compare to 130k in 1999? Probably not very well is my guess.
I feel dirty for even responding to you, but it is so critical that we vote this POS down. My NO vote is already in.

I would add that two distinct pilot groups will be created. Even more of a schism awaiting than the one that already exist between each tribe.Pension pilots vs non-pension pilots.
