How did Delta get such a great contract when they were flying as many green slips as we were flying draft?

None of the "don't fly draft" people can explain that.

Can you?[/QUOTE]

Trying to ease your conscious? You have any idea of what it is to be in a union or unity? Thousands of your fellow pilots sacrificed extra pay during negotiations in the belief that putting pressure on the company would result in a TA worthy of all. But those pilots who passed on the pay were stabbed in the back by the greed of others. You are now trying to justify your extra overtime by saying DL got a TA even though guys worked extra, nice try. I'm sure there are plenty of DL guys ****ed at the guys who flew GS's at DL. I get it, you are a, "I got mine" type of guy. Its greed like yours that makes it easy to vote Yes on this TA.

Nope, not even close. Yes, I flew some draft, certainly not very much, but I'll admit I did. I did it when I was able to drop my entire line, and flew the about the same number of hours as my original line. Why should I work for 100%, when I can have the company pay me 150%? The company obviously doesn't like this, hence the changes to AVA in the new TA. So, you won't have to worry about me doing that if there ever is another pandemic, if this TA passes, but I'm betting it won't.

My conscious is fine.

"My" union has screwed me several times, in several different situations. If "my" union really believed in unity, they would not have done so.

UFB.
It's about unity. Your union screwed you, huh? There are only two sides available. You can't switch back and forth when it suits you without consequences.
It's about solving a CRS problem short notice and making the operation feel nothing but your support.
It's about someone else listening to your BS on the flight deck and deciding to do the same thing.
It's about someone who can't clear their schedule as easily deciding to take the call from CRS when they see what you're doing.
It's about the simple fact that we were all supposed to be on the same side, pulling in the same direction willing to make the same sacrifices.

But we weren't. We had some (like you) who thought they were smarter. "Flying smarter" my @ss. Yeah  you really stuck it to the company by "making" them pay you 150%. If you think they gave 2 sh!ts about that you're delusion. Price of doing business.
If that helps you sleep at night, great. You're not alone. Now all of you have the gall to complain about this TA? You deserve it. I can complain about the TA. You shouldn't. Thanks by the way.

And of course they wanted to change that in the TA, why not if they could get us to say "yes"? It's a fix to a pandemic corner case that, absent another pandemic, will likely never happen again.

Company wanted to do away with any over time unless you flew BLG. Probably a great answer for all the greed.

middle managers (low end VPs) don't like it when pilots make more $$ than them. The greedy are still gonna fly extra, but now it's just gonna cost the company less.

Well, I didn't. And the reason I didn't is because there is no way to justify it, no way to spin it as the right thing to do, and no way you can have credibility if you spent our leverage to line your pockets. Sorry, not sorry. Oh, and it's conscience, but "conscious" is actually fitting, albeit inadvertently so.

Actually, they want to do away with overtime when it suits them(AVA). They keep overtime when it helps them (draft & VLT). AVA had to be given when available as parameters had been met on those days. “The fix” makes pilots go to straight time (or at least paid straight time) instead of AVA when trolling open time. Draft & VLT were always when company needed a fix.

Too old to leave. Too young to retire. NO vote banked.

AA is going back to negotiate again after UAL releasing AIP. Here’s our opportunity folks.
