When they hear nothing but "the Scope changes are GOOD, not bad" and "reject this and there will be furloughs" and "these are industry-leading pay rates but you have to look at TOTAL compensation and don't mind our incorrect bar graphs", well then it kind of makes sense they are believing what they are being incessantly pelted with and voting accordingly. Maybe next go-around we throttle back on the fire-hose propaganda and just let the thing live or die on its merits.

Everyone needs to remember how we got here. COVID caused a lot of isolation. The MEC needed to listen more. There needed to be more discussion and less transmission.
We need to thank everyone involved and understand the shortfalls of TA1.0. We now better understand what will be needed to achieve an industry leading contract with TA 2.0. We need to heal, and we need to listen to all side. It is time we get to work together and leave no one behind.
I am counting on every pilot who said they would help with TA 2.0 to roll up their sleeves and lend a hand. Everyone need to do a little. Together.

Wonderful news to wake up to today. I’ve been vocal against 1.0 here and I’m willing to serve to bring us all a better 2.0. I look forward to comms from the union about how we can better align the NC agenda with the crew force agenda and I’ll be reaching out to my block rep (again) to ask about volunteering.

Let's start with a survey that offers ALL OF THE NEGOTIATING OPTIONS. The previous survey essentially forced pancakes and pension elimination as the only choices. Also, no to single pilot, no to outsourcing our jobs, and it's time for less SUB, not more. Oh yeah, industry leading pay rates actually means industry leading pay rates.

I can’t speak for Anthrax, but I contacted my block rep during the voting period to see if I could start a conversation about why he felt so positively about this TA. He never responded to me. I’m going to email him back and ask how I can step up and help out going forward. Hopefully he responds to that one.

2871 “No” votes.
That’s the easy part. I sure never saw 2871 people at the picketing events. Maybe some of you will finally show up. We definitely need more than 10% if we are going to convince the company we are unified.
