No Mention Of The Concessions In TA1
Earlier today, the MEC received the results of the telephone survey conducted from August 10th through August 23rd. The MEC will receive a comprehensive briefing from our polling expert on Tuesday. The phone survey had an impressive 96% response rate, solidifying the fact that pilots are eager to participate and ensuring the accuracy of our findings. Additionally, we are in the process of preparing a web-based survey that will allow everyone in the pilot group to participate and will drill down on specific areas for improvement you have identified in the phone survey. As bargaining resumes, you can expect future surveys that capture the changing business and economic environments.
The survey underscored the need to address Scope, Pay, and the Amendable Period Recovery Payment while also recognizing that Retirement remains a significant area of focus. These survey results provide us with the initial data required to take the next steps as we prepare to re-engage with the NMB and reinitiate bargaining.
It has been said that you achieve what you can negotiate, not what you deserve. We cannot achieve what we deserve without working together and the full support of the membership.
Lets it be clear to the MEC/NC, any concessions is an automatic NO vote. If they think they’re going to do a quick fix on what’s mentioned in their message and expect it to pass, then we will be working on TA3 before you know it. I’ll wait as long as it take to fix that mess.

Not sure they're gonna get full support of the membership with the current NC and MEC Chairman still in place.

Concessions are to give breathing room in times of economic constraint. Revenue has basically doubled since last time.
To use your analogy, it’s as if you got a raise at work and came home to tell your wife she can’t go on the girls weekend this year because you got a raise. What? See how long that lasts.

We could waste 6 months while they dither and then give us pancakes again.
No thanks!
The current NC, MEC, and especially MEC Chairman, do not have my support.
I already voted in favor of recalling two reps. One more has resigned, another is up for a recall vote. What about the other LEC's?
It's time to clean house.

Again, then why were there no concessions at UPS, United, American, and Delta? Why is FedEx always the only one to give a little to get a little?

It's time to stop this nonsense, another reason we need to clean house and have as many new reps as possible, and a new NC. I don't trust them to do the right thing.

I don't think that happens, or the word would get around and no executive would work here.
It should be the same way for pilots.
No concessions!

It’s all good! I’ll rather be single in that case. I don’t want don’t end up giving the last hair on my body to my wife and at the end she still divorce me and take my blood too.
