Correct. If PM’s only failure was a result of poor MEC guidance he’d have more supporters.
go re-read his apology email. Even he acknowledges the one-sided sales pitch and communication failures. Paired with his unacknowledged condescension and threats to the crew force, his failures extend far beyond a lack of MEC control. |

I didn't see an email where he actually apologized for what he did. What day did that come out?

Are you referring to "Open Letter to the FDX MEC" that was sent on November 15? Because I'm reading that again now, and it's most definitely NOT an apology nor anything close.

That’s how someone with neither integrity nor credibility writes a half-assed apology. |

He acknowledges the concerns about communication/transparency and begrudgingly admits a “TA must stand on its own merit.”

PM has managed to weasel his way into staying as NC Chair until 'the end of the April bid month'. After failing to honor his given word of stepping down. How can he be trusted at all, by anyone, other than the company's negotiators?
A magical TA 1.1 under his "leadership" at the negotiating table before he steps down, should be a big concern to our line guys and gals. His goals are more aligned with the corporation than the pilot group. It has been that way for years. And a half-assed non-apology letter in which he fails to take any responsibility for the current mess we are in, isn't going to change anything. Just like the company, he's aiming for 50% +1, while paying for gains with serious QOL erosion (which won't hurt a dude with 20+ years here). |

I agree. PM needs to go. |

The company is loving this. They can send us another awful offer before then and if we don't accept it, they just got at least another 4 months of not having to pay up. If we do accept, they win again.
You are right about the company loving something, it's having the pilot who sided with them on all kinds of concessions, back at the table. |
