What matters is we are all Fedex pilots and we all want a better contract! If we find our little groups and infight we will not accomplish a thing except less money in our pockets and no improvements in our work rules.

We can fight like little kids in the play ground or we can rally together and get a contract we all deserve! We need to move on from the past and get our feet on the ground and start moving towards our main goal.

I know junior guys think all the senior guys care about themselves. If you were thinking clearly you would realize the time value of money. Anything you are losing today is missing out on compounded gains for 30+ years. Us old guys will be long dead by then. You want more money. The faster we get a great contract and you start putting the gains away the better off you will be.

We can also clean up the work rules to make everyones QOL better or we can maintain status quo.

Spot on. And, very aggressive at locking people out who aren't in their little toxic circle. I joined just to see what was their position on things and they booted me in a few hours without me ever having commented on anything. The thing I noticed is that they spend most of their efforts bashing FFF and "NO" voters, and not much else. All in all, pretty petty and pointless and loaded with pro-mamagement types.

The "time value of money" argument is useless because it can be used to defend even the sh*ttiest contract proposals so long as they get signed *now*.

Why is it not going to look good? You going to fire them or deny them jumpseats, or bust them on a check ride? What's not going to look good is our contract if we keep up the petty factions and stay divided.

Time value of money! That is hilarious. If we take a pay rate that is 20% too low, that is the negotiating base for every subsequent contract. That is some serious "time value of money".

Wow what's hilarious is that you can't read, I didn't say take a crappy contract fast. I said let's work together to get a solid contract fast so we aren't losing money.
