You don't know what you are talking about. Another JF cry baby who can't get along with others. Looks like you have only been at Fedex a few years, what have you earned the right to? Ma because you aren't getting drop for draft every month like you did during COVID and can't pay the mortgage?

This is the typical crappy attitude that has so many younger, bottom 50% seniority people so willing to dig in and make sure they get their fair share on this contract. If you have any hope for that cherished A-plan bump, you might want to reconsider the people you constantly trash. You know, the ones that will carry the TA over the line.

[QUOTE=BlueAvi8tor;3745008]lol I have never, ever, taken a draft trip in nearly a decade. The crybabies are the super senior FYIGM crowd
Try the more junior FYIGM guys who flew their asses off during negotiations, made lots of money and now want to blame the senior guys for finally getting a pension bump. No one waxes nostaligic about flying the 72 but many senior people worked hard, voted no on every contract and made this company the great place it is now. We were industry leading in contracts for years and now one TA voted down and people are whining. The majority of new hires over the past three years went direct to a WB FO seat, that wasn't happening anywhere else. Show me an airline where a pilot can spend his career on the 777 from day one. So enjoy your entitlement and senior guy bashing.

Social media and nothing else. But its easy to look at a small percentage of 5,800 FX pilots who post on JF or here and make broad assumptions. Its business and people vote and then we press on. Too many posters whining not realizing this is just standard contract negotiations.

The same can be said about the junior peoples seat progression.... it is in all our interests to get gains for all. If senior guy doesn't get a pension bump, he may choose to occupy a capt seat until he's 65/7...slowing seat progression... or camp on a line you want. Everyone just chill on the anger and let's get a good deal for us all. Stop dividing.

The main reason why you can hold 777 from day one here is because of the concessionary 2015 CBA.
The senior guys say "we built this company, we deserve this" while trying to get you to forget that they voted yes on all of the CBAs with major concessions and no pension fixes so that they could snag an easy pay rate bump instead of digging-in for a good contract. Now they're mad at the young guys for digging-in.

it's not out of spite... it's economics. If the economy is not growing, the only way to upgrade is via retirements and or peeps going out on medical. So if you are really worried about QOL and compounding... that's a factor. Nobody is asking you to accept a bad deal... you have one vote like I do. AND, many senior people voted no to get to 57%.. remember that.
