Nice first post. What is your real screen name you usually post under. You guys sure like to use the word unconscionable. Buzz word of the year?
Nice conspiracy theory about jumpseat denial.Talk about scheming, what did the TC eight just do last week, all kinds of openess and transparency.

“Nov 16th, the following Block Reps failed to represent their constituents via proxy or participate per the policy
manual, thereby preventing a Quorum and subsequent meeting:”
- Block 1,
- Block 7,
- Block 9, ANC
- Block 12, LAX
- Block 14, IND
Names redacted.
These shills didn’t follow the policies, they blatantly violated them and should’ve been expelled from ALPA altogether, but here we are.
In the meantime, we have several hundred newly eligible voters who are standing by and will vote accordingly if the next TA even remotely threatens their careers like the first one did. If you’re within a few years of retirement and not prepared to live with the current package then you need to make arrangements.

Conspiracy theory?!? There were screenshots from the screaming minority chat. It’s not a theory, it’s a fact and it doesn’t fit your personal agenda. Aside from that, let’s not forget the shenanigans that have resulted in our current situation. Here’s a reminder (and it’s just the tip of the iceberg) since you obviously need it:

We would’ve already passed this current hurdle had these management SHILLS not obstructed the process back then though.

Block 1 getting sent to recall
MEC majority now held by people who aren't shills with deep and long-held alliances to the company.
MEC finally told the NMB we're tired of the delay tactics and BS offers from the company (ALPA national agrees)
Would it have been nicer if the shills had stepped away like they promised to if the TA failed? Absolutely. But at least now we can finally move forward in a positive direction.

Yes. Shills. Also, things are going our way.

I suggest a great one by AJR… “Burn the House Down.”
